sending troops to the basin of the Yang-Tze-Kiang. They did
this not only by words, but also by actions. My military
comrades know all that has happened, and without my giving
an account of it, you can see what sort of man Borodin is,
and what ability he has. But now Wong Ching Wai and Sun
Chit Shang still have faith in such a man,
his advice. In everything they would say,
and want to have
"Those are
Borodin's instructions," without taking the trouble to
investigate the matter clearly. They do not try to solve
any difficulty that may be met with, but they only say,
"Let us go and ask the advice of Borodin.' I pity Wong and
Sun very much; they are pitiable indeed. We all know
Borodin and his men very well, and will no more be deceived
by them, but we can only carry out what the Chairman has
just said in warning us, that is, we should uplift our spirit of independence and activity, actively push forward
the carrying into operation of the "Three Aspects of Demo-
cracy", and accomplish the objects propounded by our late
President within the shortest possible time.
